Inspiring Creative Confidence
Performing & Technical Arts
Artistic enrichment at St. Bonaventure gives students meaningful opportunities to create, perform, and express themselves beyond the classroom. From drama and music to visual and technical arts, our programs nurture creativity, build confidence, and celebrate each child’s unique talents. In partnership with parents, we encourage students to explore their passions and shine through a vibrant and dynamic arts community.
Drama
Drama is part of the English and literature curriculum to boost learning through fun theatre activities. Our after-school Drama Club, for students in grades 3-8, teaches improvisation, singing, and performance skills, helping kids build confidence and improve their speaking and listening skills. The club puts on performances throughout the year, with middle school students also working as stage crew, tech team, and costume designers.
Technical Arts
Our Tech Crew gives students hands-on experience with stage production and media technology. Students learn the skills of lighting, sound, and video recording while supporting our drama performances and school events. This program builds teamwork, responsibility, and technical confidence behind the scenes — essential roles that bring the arts to life.
