Transitional Kindergarten - “Sprouts”

Sprouts is our one-year Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program designed to give young students the chance to learn through discovery and play in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment. With a slower pace and a more relaxed, developmental approach compared to a traditional Kindergarten, Sprouts allows children to grow and develop spiritually, intellectually, and socially at their own pace.

This program serves as a wonderful bridge into Traditional Kindergarten at SBS the following year, preparing children for continued success. Students must be aged 4 on or before September 1st of their year of enrollment. For more information regarding eligibility and application requirements, see Apply.

Kindergarten

Our traditional Kindergarten is a one-year program for school-ready 5-year-old students. Core academic themes include literacy and writing practice, hands-on investigation, number sense and mathematical reasoning, broad historical connections, and an introduction to Scripture. Kindergarten students participate in weekly Mass and monthly Eucharistic Adoration alongside their elementary and junior high peers.

Students must be aged 5 on or before September 1st of their year of enrollment. For more information regarding eligibility and application requirements, see Apply.
