Jr. High Clubs

Student-Led Jr. High Clubs at St. Bonaventure Catholic School

At St. Bonaventure, we are proud to support student initiative, leadership, and creativity through a variety of student-created and student-run clubs. Each club is approved by the principal and guided by a faculty moderator who mentors students while encouraging independence, collaboration, and responsibility. These clubs allow our Saints to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and grow in community with one another.

  • SBSTV – Student News Outlet

    SBSTV is a student-led news platform where students learn about journalism, storytelling, and media production. Club members collaborate to create news segments that inform and celebrate life at SBS.

  • SAINTS Service Club

    The SAINTS Service Club is dedicated to serving others through acts of generosity, outreach, and compassion. Members donate their time, resources, and talents to support those in need within our community and beyond.

  • Rock & Pray Club

    Rock & Pray Club is a faith-centered music ministry where students come together to worship and praise the Lord through song and instrumental music. This club nurtures both musical gifts and spiritual growth.

  • Debate / Model United Nations (MUN) Club

    In Debate and MUN Club, students learn how to research important global issues, articulate their ideas clearly, and participate in formal debate using the Model United Nations structure. This club fosters critical thinking, public speaking, and respectful dialogue.

  • Surf Club

    The Surf Club at St. Bonaventure is designed to teach students about the theory, skills, and benefits of surfing in a safe, school-based environment. Students gain appreciation for the ocean, physical fitness, and responsible outdoor recreation.

  • Culinary Club

    In Culinary Club, students share their love of cooking and creativity by learning and teaching one another how to make fun treats for special occasions. This hands-on experience builds teamwork, confidence, and practical life skills.

  • Art of Animation Club

    This creative club introduces students to various animation techniques while helping them begin their own animation projects. Students explore storytelling, digital art, and design in a collaborative environment.
